KANNFINCH has prepared a master plan for Parramatta City Council and adjacent landowners to revitalise the suburb of Epping, 18km northwest of the Sydney CBD. The area has been identified as an Urban Activation Precinct by the NSW government due to its proximity to Epping station which strategically connects the existing rail network to the North West Rail Link, a new 23km addition to Sydney’s CityRail network designed by KANNFINCH.
The town centre site provides tremendous opportunity to create a dynamic and thriving community for Epping. The corner of Rawson and Carlingford Road offers high visibility to the development whilst the establishment of a new civic plaza will serve to revitalise and connect with the nearby Boronia Park.
