Yarra’s Edge is one of the largest waterfront precincts in the Melbourne Docklands, covering an area of 14.5 hectares stretching for 1.5km along the southern bank of the Yarra River.

The River Precinct of Yarra’s Edge covers 5.5 hectares. The original Master Plan for the site proposed a course grained collection of commercial and residential buildings. KANNFINCH won a design competition to develop a new Master Plan of the site. The winning design created a water based robust mixed use Master Plan that provides an individual ‘sense of place’ for the River Precinct designed to create a unique character focusing on the public domain.
